Join David Temple and Hertfordshire Chorus for workshops on two great works of the choral repertoire.

25th October workshop on Haydn’s glorious Harmoniemesse. This was his last completed work and is often regarded as the greatest of his six mass settings. Held in special esteem by musicians, the work has an enormous stylistic range, from fugues looking back to the Baroque to music looking forward to early Romanticism. After running through the full range of emotions, the work ends on a triumphant note.
