Epsom Chamber Choir makes French Connections
We reach a hand across the channel for our spring concert at St Martin's Church, Epsom on 26th March and everyone is bienvenu!
France is represented by Debussy's Trois Chansons and pieces by Saint-Saëns, Poulenc and Lili Boulanger, including a Debussy piano duet. The UK counters with Vaughan Williams' G Minor Mass and Stanford's Magnificat Op. 164. A cheeky detour over the Swiss border for Frank Martin's Full Fathom Five draws together French and English culture.
We are excited to be singing once again in front of a live audience under the direction of our always inspiring conductor Mark Biggins and in the wonderful acoustic of St Martin's Church.
