Dunfermline Gilbert & Sullivan Society are returning to Carnegie Hall to celebrate their 50th anniversary with The Pirates of Penzance. Always a favourite production, Robin Ozóg directs andstars as the Pirate King, Gordon Horne is young Frederick and we welcome Michael Scott as Major- General Stanley and Jennifer Murray as Mabel. Our Musical Director, Eddie MacLennan, leads a full orchestra in a fun operetta that includes well known songs, ‘Poor wandering one’, ‘With cat-like tread’, ‘When a felon’s not engaged in hisemployment’, ‘When the foemen bares his steel’ and ‘I am the very model of a modern major general’.
