Drama Workshop

Every year Ricky Players prepares for a May production at the Pump House and A musical at Watersmeet (plus of course Choir/Youth/Murder mystery and a variety of other activities on stage or behind it). We thought it would be a lot of fun to have a workshop for all, (members only) and have a go at acting /directing/producing a piece of theatre ,where there are no right or wrong answers. It will be a chance to experiment and essentially learn a new skill and how to work together in a team to produce some live theatre . Working together we will hopefully encourage /enlighten and enthuse members to have a great fun evening (and eat as many biscuits as possible) on the basis that sometime in the future they will hopefully audition/offer their services behind the set on the tech side/production/ stage management etc.

The evening will be very relaxed and informal ,previous acting/directing/producing experience is not a prerequisite. Our objective is to grab the interest of more members in all aspects of what we do as a group.
