Join Redbridge Libraries for a vibrant celebration of life & death in this free family friendly arts festival inspired by the Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) The programme includes:

 Arts & Crafts
 Arts Exhibitions
 Storytelling
 Face Painting
 Live music & entertainment
 Games
 A grand parade

Activities in the library will run from 1-5pm followed by the grand parade which will leave Wanstead Library after 5pm. (All times are approximate and could change on the day) All activities are free and drop-in (unless otherwise stated). All adults and children are encouraged to come dressed to party. Why not channel your inner Frida Kahlo, or James Bond from Spectre? Or how about dressing as a colourful skeleton inspired by the films Coco and The Book of Life? There will be prizes for the best dressed. Places are limited for some activities and are designated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that if the library reaches capacity, we will allow access on a one-in, one-out basis.
