Continuum - Carol Fieldhouse

Six years in the making CONTINUUM began with a songwriting project exploring motherhood through song with five women:from the first breathless announcement of pregnancy to the joy of a grandmother watching the lives of her teenage grandchildren unfurl. These songs are framed by other stories of women from the past, present and towards the future. They are intimate songs: spacious and sparsely instrumented, using light and shadow to illuminate each unique story they hold.
