Details

Do you enjoy singing? Fancy rehearsing and performing choruses from some of the world’s most loved operas? Yes? Well look no further...

Join Scottish Opera's Head of Music, Derek Clark for an exciting and enjoyable day of music making for adult singers of all ages and abilities (music reading required).

Rehearse and explore the operatic chorus repertoire in an encouraging, fun and relaxed environment before performing for family and friends in a closing concert.

All music will be provided in advance (so no sight singing on the day to lose sleep over!)

Blow away the cobwebs from your pipes for Verdi’s monumental Triumphal Scene from “Aida" and enjoy humming along to Puccini’s sumptuous Humming Chorus from “Madama Butterfly” amongst other operatic highlights.

Complimentary tea & coffee will be provided throughout the day. Spaces are strictly limited so early booking before the application deadline of 27th March 2023 is advised.

Opera Caledonia concerts and events are run in complete compliance with all Scottish Government Covid-19 rules and regulations – providing audience members/participants with peace of mind that they are in a safe environment.
