New Year Viennese Strauss Gala

Now established as an annual favourite in the Town Hall calendar, the New Year Strauss Gala returns once more, recreating the atmosphere in Vienna’s famous Musikverein and celebrating the arrival of 2023 with a sparkling collection of waltzes, marches and arias by the Waltz King and his contemporaries.

Cheltenham favourites, the BSO, will be joined by a guest soprano to bring you an evening of graceful melodies, glamour and sparkle, including such favourites as Merry Wives of Windsor Overture, Tik-Tak Polka and, of course, the Radetzky March and The Blue Danube.
