Black Doldrums

Black Doldrums produce dark psych, contemporary gothic post-punk. Their songs contain hook & lead tribal drums & euphoric guitar. The duo built a following since their self-released ep 'Exit City Lights' before signing to Club AC30 in 2018, releasing 2 ep's in 18 & 19, 'Sad Paradise' & She 'Divine'.

London-based group Black Doldrums are touring their long-awaited debut album, Dead Awake, out March 11 2022 via Fuzz Club Records. They play dark psych, contemporary gothic post-punk. Originally a duo founded by Sophie Landers (drums) and Kevin Gibbard (guitar/vocals) but now recently fleshed out to a trio with Matt Holt joining on bass, Black Doldrums deal in a dark, shoegazing psych that melds gothic post-punk with a leather-clad rocknroll spirit.
