Billy Elliot

Set in the North East of England during the height of the 1980’s miners’ strikes, the musical Billy Elliot charts the journey of a young boy as he embraces his talent for dance. Fuelled by the passion, the energy and anger of the adults around him, Billy battles against stereotypes, prejudice and societal expectations to realise his true potential as a member of the Royal Ballet School. This emotional journey is fraught with confrontation, friendship and discovery. Queen’s Park High School proudly presents our 2023 production of Billy Elliot.
