Ben Salfield is widely recognised as one of the world's finest solo performers of 16th to 18th Century lute music. He has performed to critical acclaim at many of Europe's leading venues and festivals, given numerous masterclasses, lectures and lessons worldwide, and is thought to have had more column inches written about him in newspapers and magazines than any other current lutenist.
