Billed as a real Scottish ceilidh for children, Artie’s new offering will celebrate Rabbie Burns’ Birthday with a show packed full of Scottish songs.

“Burns’ songs are a wee bit tricky for today’s younger audience but I thought it would be a great way to celebrate our national Bard with a show that features only Scottish songs. And I’ve got a load of them!”

Likely to feature are Singing Kettle favourites, “Shove Yer Granny”, “A Plate o’ Tattie Soup” and “The Big Ship Sails through the Eelly Alley O”. And the audience won’t be seated for the whole performance, children will be invited to get on their feet and do some crazy dancing too. Imagine a whole audience stomping around playing ceilidh instruments to “The Music Man”.

“This is the second generation of Singing Kettle fans,” says Artie. “I love watching parents re-live their childhoods while at the same time the children are having a whale of a time”.

Great fun for the whole family, bring Granny too. We promise not to shove her off the Bus!
