‘Allo ‘Allo! is set in the occupied portion of France during World War II and tells the story of a French café owner, René Artois, who resides in the village of Nouvion. René wants, but never achieves the quiet life. Caught between the French Resistance, two bumbling British Airmen, the German Army, the Gestapo, the Italians and his need to keep secret from his wife his long-running affairs with his two waitresses, or risk losing his cherished café. René never gets a moments peace.
