Kim Carnie is one of those rare talents that you may have already come across without even realising it, thanks to her numerous compositions for films, festivals and even computer games.
Renowned for her tender yet powerful vocals and ability to blend Gaelic traditional material with her own songs in English, Kim blends traditional Gaelic roots with cinematic, contemporary soundscapes.
She has worked with a long list of celebrated artists and ensembles across the Scottish and world folk scenes, from the prestigious Transatlantic Sessions to Griot Royalty Trio da Kali.
She is the lead singer of the award-winning band Mànran and a founding member of the contemporary and experimental folk ensemble Staran.
Her voice has also reached global audiences on stages and through film and television, featuring in soundtracks for Netflix’s Outlaw King and Black Mirror.
Supported by her equally renowned bandmates, Megan Henderson and Innes White, this will be a stunning gig.
