Dream with your eyes openFantasy Forest is the brainchild of a group of seasoned festival veterans whose dream it was to introduce a different kind of festival to the UK.

A festival that brings fans from all genres of fantasy together for the weekend, providing a feast of entertainment and spectacle.

Whether you’re into sci-fi and fantasy films, books, video games, anime, cosplay, LARP, steampunk or historic re-enactment, all are welcome to this gathering of like-minded people.Located in the grounds of Sudeley Castle in view of the rolling Cotswold Hills, Fantasy Forest takes place in a fairytale setting perfect for fantasy frolics. 19,000 people attended in 2025 enjoying 105 acitivities and the sell-out 2026 event promises to be every bit as exciting.“It’s amazing to see the continued rising popularity and support for Fantasy Forest Festival year on year.

Held on the Saturday, expect to see a large impressive wicker structure set alight in a moving and poignant ceremony, taking place overlooking Sudeley Castle’s estate.As part of the music lineup, on Sunday at 3pm visitors can enjoy sounds from The Film Orchestra for two full hours.The 70-piece orchestra, supported by a choir, will bring the scores of your favourite films, video games and shows to life.Of course, as a fantasy festival, you can expect cosplayers to support the orchestra with a little show when their score comes up!The costume competition is one of the highlights of Fantasy Forest, where you have the opportunity to show off your outfit to maximum effect in front of a full crowd and judges, with your choice of music and performance.
