9 to 5 The Musical

Hull College Musical Theatre proudly present 9 to 5 The Musical.9 To 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the 1980 hit film.
Set in the late 1970s, it tells the story of friendship, workplace frustration, and revenge in a male-dominated office environment.
When pushed too far by their sexist and egotistical boss, three female co-workers devise an unexpected plan to turn the tables. Violet, Judy and Doralee imagine a world where they take control, transforming their workplace and challenging the system that has kept them down.
With a strong ensemble, energetic score, and bold characters, 9 to 5 is a fast-paced production with a lot of humour, and a whole lot of 'Hart'.Performed by Hull College Level 3, 4 & 5 Musical Theatre.Music and Lyrics by Dolly Parton
