Brechin Castle and Walled Garden Open Days

You are cordially invited by Lord and Lady Ramsay to visit the historic Brechin Castle, which is only open for a limited time each year.
Don't miss out on this rare and exclusive opportunity to see behind the walls of a 15th Century fortress that has served as the private home of the Dalhousie family for the last 250 years. You can take a stroll through the walled gardens at your own leisure after the tour and enjoy a cuppy and cake in our walled garden tearoom.
Now in 2026, Brechin Castle will be open Wednesdays - Sundays from the 24th of June through the 26th of July with entry only permitted through private guided tours running at 11.30am or 1pm. Advance bookings are recommended with all provided details below to secure your spot today. Please note that this is a historical site. The Castle does have stairs and may not be accessible to all whilst the walled garden is sloping and may be partially accessible.
