This fiddle workshop is aimed at beginner/intermediate fiddle players.

Grasp the notes – new tunes composed in a traditional Scottish style.

Add some ornamentation – a hammer-on and/or pipe grace note.

Tackle some bowings – keep the flow going.

A chord here, an open-string drone there – keeping the music fresh.

Incorporate some new techniques into your existing repertoire.

Explore clean and tidy playing versus a bigger, fuller sound.

Whatever stage you are at in your playing, dive right in and pick your challenge.
