In a Human Library , the 'books' are people, real people with a story to tell. Not just any story: the Human Library is a unique collection of books whose stories create new understandings between book and borrower. The Human library began in Copenhagen by a youth organisation that wanted to create a safe place for conversation in order to dispel myths and create bridges. The project has spread and is now worldwide.Gabby Young
