Free Entry, By Donation: We think it's important to offer free music and culture to all. The acts for these shows are always paid and we rely on donations on the day to maintain our free shows. Suggested donation is £10, though any amount is welcome! :)About the Artist:
Rue Marie is an indie folk singer-songwriter, born and raised in Scotland. With a love for jazz, blues and folk music, Rue’s influences include the likes of Laura Marling, Angel Olsen, Billie Holiday & Karen Dalton. With the use of her honest emotive lyrics intertwined with her tender jazzy toned vocals, Rue is able to transport audiences to a daydream of nostalgia with her melancholy tales of love, solitude and grief.
Rue released her first single ‘In The Long Run’ October ‘24 which was aired on BBC Introducing, BBC Travelling Folk and Amazing Radio. Rue then went on to release her debut album ‘Tied To A Dream’ November ‘24.
