Community Dance Open Day 2026

St Helens Local Cultural Educational Partnership (LCEP) are excited to host a series of free to attend workshops as part of 'Step Forward: St Helens Dance Festival'.Join us at St Helens College on Saturday 16th May for a fun-filled day of free 75minute dance workshops, open to children and young people across the borough as part of the Step Forward St Helens Dance Festival. These exciting sessions give participants the chance to learn new skills, try different dance styles, and work with fantastic local dance artists. Each workshop focuses on a specific genre and age group, helping young dancers build confidence, creativity, and a love of movement. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves to dance, everyone is welcome!Workshop Schedule Saturday 16th May. All sessions take place at St Helens College.

All workshops are free, but spaces must be booked in advance.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for dance and bring a drink.
