The Scott Monument and selected Statuettes

Part 1: regular 30 minute tour of the monument organised by Scott Monument. Please arrive at the box office at the Scott monument 5 minutes before the event for a briefing
Part 2: 30 minute walk around the outside of the monument pointing out and explain some of the statuettes on the monument to characters from Scott's novels and poems (e.g. Mary Queen of Scots, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Queen Elizabeth, Jeanie Deans, Ivanhoe, Knight Templar, Ellen Douglas (Lady of the Lake) - a mix of historical and fictional characters.
