Dope Purple (TWN):Dope Purple are a psychedelic/noise rock band formed in Taipei in 2016, who channel influences from hard rock, noise & psychedelia with a particular emphasis on sounds from the Japanese underground, into a cosmic guitar explosion.Dope Purple champion Taiwan's psych rock culture & hosts the Taipei Psychedelic Rock Music Festival, inviting musicians like Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mother Temple) & Taigen Kawabe (Bo Ningen).
