Streatham - the West End of South London

A walk along Streatham High Road and Streatham Hill led by Robert Doyle. Robert will be talking about how 1930's Streatham came to have a greater variety of shopping and entertainment than anywhere else south of the River Thames.This walk will focus on Streatham's commercial buildings. Unlike on previous walks we will not be visiting the courtyards of apartment blocks.
