Mayuchi Ono, the Winner of Gregynog Young Musician of the Year,

Cellist Mayuchi Ono, winner of the Gregynog Young Musician of the Year 2025, performs at Llanfyllin Music Festival accompanied by a pianist, Helen Cawthorne.

Studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Mayuchi has already earned numerous awards and is celebrated for her expressive and accomplished playing.

Helen Cawthorne is a prize-winning solo pianist, accompanist, and chamber musician.

Her subsequent career has reflected this diversity, and a special interest in working with singers and string players.
