Mike Daly and Martin Foster with the Green Note Trio

Join us for a magical evening of swinging Standards with the acclaimed Mike Daly (cornet) and Martin Foster (reeds) at the iconic Green Note jazz club!Mike has been playing professionally since he was seventeen and has become one the most tasteful and lyrical cornet players on the jazz scene.

His style has been influenced by players such as Bobby Hackett, Ruby Braff and Warren Vache.

He has performed all over the UK and Europe to critical acclaim.

Apart from working in the jazz scene, Mike has performed with various show bands and backed many cabaret artists.

He is also the founding member of the popular Dixieland band The Rhythm Kings.Martin Foster is one of the jazz scene's most versatile and experienced multi-reed players.

He has played with numerous bands and appeared at jazz festivals across the UK, Europe and the States.

An exponent of classic jazz he is a regular member of various ensembles with his Benny Goodman/Artie Shaw influenced clarinet as well as his playing on a range of saxophones from the sopranino to the mighty Bass sax which shows shades of Bechet, Hodges, Webster, Mulligan and Rollini.
