Shadow puppetry and animation conjure terror and tenderness in this creative ode to the wolf and wildness- drawing on folk arts while engaging a modern audience hungry for stories of landscape, ecology and the more-than-human world.Once respected and woven into the cosmology of ancient cultures, wolves became villains in European fairy tales and were hunted to extinction in Scotland by the 18th century.
