About

Death is handled very differently from country to country and within different faiths - but in all cultures are rituals and superstition around it.

Death is handled very differently from country to country and within different faiths - but in all cultures are rituals and superstition around it.

Where do these rituals come from and do we need them as humans? How does the way we handle death as a society have an impact on the bereaved? Novelist Sofka Zinovieff was banned from attending her own father's funeral.

She talks to Matt Morgan, an Intensive Care Consultant who has professional and personal experiences of death.

Chaired by Olivia Chapman.

There will be a book signing after this event.
