NAFCo Pat Ballantyne - Dance Workshop

Scottish percussive stepdance is an energetic dance style that is a bit like tap dance and a bit like Irish dancing but with a Scottish influence.

In no time at all you will be beating out rhythms with your feet and dancing to live Scottish dance music.

You will learn some of the basic movements that are used in this dance style and some social dances.

It is great exercise – you will get a good workout, have fun and it is very sociable.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Low-heeled shoes or dance trainers are ideal but not necessary.

Bare feet or socks are not suitable.
