The walk will start with a visit to the Burn oVat, a vast bowl of pink granite, scooped out during the Ice Age over 10,000 years ago.
Walkers will discover some of Deesides prettiest woodlands, as we head along the upper bank of the Vat Burn towards Cambus oMay woods, then drop down on a forestry track towards the picturesque Lochs Davan and Kinord. We continue through the Muir of Dinnet reserve, rich in wildlife and cultural heritage, before we reach the village of Dinnet.
Here we join the Deeside Way before we turn down to wander alongside The River Dee.

The walk finishes at the layby by the club.Terrain: Generally good paths with some narrow or uneven sections, including exposed tree roots that might be slippery.
