Spiegeltent 2026: Grīṣhma; Indian Summer Soirée

We invite everyone to a summer’s evening filled with Indian classical music by sitar duo Ayan Sengupta and Srijanee Bannerjee accompanied by Ustad Shahbaz Hussian ‘Son of Lahore awardee’ on Tabla.The sound of the taanpura drone sets the scene for the two renowned Indian music scholars to begin their sitar recital of seasonal Indian classical ragas, featuring intricate microtonal nuances and associated with particular times of day or seasons.
