Clevedon is well-known for it's lovely Victorian pier and grand Victorian houses. Consequently the town's earlier history is often overshadowed by its later glory. This 1.9 mile walk follows some surprisingly old tracks and paths to discover the oldest parts of the town, focusing on the church of St Andrew, tucked away between two hills, one of which has some dramatic Iron Age features.
The circualr route starts from near The Salthouse pub, so perfect if you fancy any refreshments after the walk. The walk is mainly on paved paths, with one section across grassland. There are some gentle slopes.
