Andrea Vicari Quartet w. Special Guest Joao Driessen

Jazz pianist/composer Andrea Vicari has become an admired figure on the UK scene with a CV that features work with the likes of trumpeter Yazz Ahmed, Croatian guitarist Elvis Stanic, South African trumpeter Claude Deppa and US trumpeter Art Farmer at venues as diverse as Ronnie Scott’s and the Maritime Silk Road festival, China! A founder and musical director of the Dordogne International Jazz Summer School (now in its 25th year) she has 7 critically acclaimed albums to her name.

Andrea’s Special Guest is the celebrated saxophonist Joao Driessen.

Born in Amsterdam Joao spent his early years in London before moving back in 2003 to study Jazz at the Conservatorium.

Since then he has established himself on the European jazz scene, admired for his dynamic sound and captivating performances.
