However we are delighted to announce that Beethoven's 'Archduke' Trio will now be performed by the Paddington Trio, a highly distinguished and internationally recognised piano trio who are seen as the one of the most exciting chamber ensembles of their generation.The Paddington Trio :

" Music can take you anywhere, when played like this. The GuardianMore prosaically described as the Piano Trio in B-flat major, opus 97, Beethovens Archduke Trio was composed in 1810 and 1811. The Trio was dedicated to Archduke Rudolph, youngest child of the Holy Roman Emperor. Rudolph was bankrolling Beethoven at the time but, with a dozen pieces written in his honour, the Archduke got good value for money.
