As one half of electronic music party starters Plain Sailing and co-founder of creative agency Harbour Music Society, Peter Gibney has been bringing both international and local talent to make their debut in Belfast for the last half a decade, spanning techno, UKG, breakbeat, electro and bass from the likes of Objekt, Barker, D.Tiffany and Willow.A passionate and particular selector, Pete’s tastes are reflective of the sounds found at his party, although for alternative rooms he swaps techno and bass mutations in favour of, soul, jazz, hip-hop, radiant house and sprawling soundscapes, showing the full breadth of his influences.Saturday Sessions Presents has been proudly supported by Arts Council Northern Ireland
