Emily Trease

Emily Trease is an up-and-coming Leeds-based singer-songwriter currently studying at Leeds Conservatoire. Performing at Hyde Park Book Club's The Snug, she debuts a set of new original acoustic songs that takes influence from the folk songwriting of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake and the vocal improvisation of Norma Winstone. Expect an intimate evening of carefully crafted songs and beautiful storytelling.
Support comes from Birmingham's Ocean Ivy, a psychedelic post-punk band whose textured, atmospheric sound makes for a compelling contrast to the evening's acoustic songs.
