Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Park

Join us for a salmagundi of sounds at the inaugural summer concert of ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE PARK.

Our community orchestra was formed in January 2026, and over the past few months we have been rehearsing music to be presented at our first show.We will play French waltzes, a Romanian folk dance, an aria from a romantic Italian opera, some Earth Wind and Fire, some Bossa Nova, a Baroque concerto and more all arranged especially for OMP by our founder and musical director, Bernd Rest.

Also on the programme will be a couple of vocal pieces and some chamber music organised by members of the orchestra.

Few stylistic stones will remain unturned!The evening's programme will be about 1.5 hours, with an interval.

A licenced bar will serve drinks before, during and after the show.All profits from the night will go to Young Sounds UK, a charity that supports children from families who are not able to pay for instrumental lessons.
