Tiphereth is a Camphill community for people with learning disabilities and autism.Join us for a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and hands-on crafting! This year's Summer Fayre features an incredible line-up of unique, beginner-friendly workshops hosted across our beautiful grounds, including our Walled Garden, Pottery Workshop, Print Studio, Textiles Studio and the Greenkeepers wood workshop.Whether you have 30 minutes to spare or want to spend the whole day making, there is something for everyone. We have curated a diverse range of mini-sessions suitable for adults, families, and crafters of all ages:Textile & Print Arts: Try your hand at modern 3D Puffy Embroidery using colourful threads over hot glue, experience the therapeutic, soapy process of Merino Wet Felting, or step into our print shop to screen print your own custom Canvas Tote Bag.Pottery & Painting: Unleash your inner artist on pre-fired ceramic canvases! Design a personalised Ceramic Mug, or opt to design and glaze a beautiful Ceramic Hanging Ornament.Nature & Gardening: Partner with The Pentland Group to assemble and customise a wooden Bird Box (complete with unique roof options, paint and plant a Terracotta Pot with fresh seeds, or join a relaxing Herbal Tea Tasting session to sample homegrown nettle, chamomile, and rose teas.Plan Your Day
To help you get the most out of your visit to the Fayre, here is what you need to know:Mix & Match Your Schedule: Workshops run in accessible, bite-sized slots ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing you to book multiple crafts throughout the day.All Materials Included: We provide everything you need—from premium Merino wool and pre-cut timber to professional printing inks and ceramic bisque. You just bring the creativity!Family-Friendly: Our sessions are designed for all skill levels. Please note that for safety with tools, hot glue, and needles, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.Take the Garden Home: Don't forget to visit the Walled Garden after your sessions, where you can purchase plants to kick-start your own green spaces at home!Come along to create, learn, and take home a collection of handmade masterpieces.
