Sam Casey Quartet

Bassist Sam Casey leads a chordless quartet playing swinging standards with an open, interactive sound.

A Birmingham Conservatoire graduate and active on the Birmingham jazz scene, Casey draws influence from Paul Chambers, Ray Brown, and Felix Moseholm.

He is joined by James Borland on trumpet, Toby Evans on tenor saxophone and George Prentice-Povey on drums for a night of straight ahead swing and melodic improvisation.
