About

The Eilidh Grant Trio are known for their dynamic fusion of traditional and contemporary Scottish music.

The Eilidh Grant Trio are known for their dynamic fusion of traditional and contemporary Scottish music. With an irresistible blend of heartfelt vocals, instrumental talent, and inventive arrangements, they create a unique and memorable sound that resonates with audiences around the world.
Eilidh is celebrated for her rich, emotive voice and her ability to breathe life into both traditional ballads and modern compositions and underpinning it is a passion for the works of Robert Burns.
Fiona Cuthill, on fiddle, brings energy and precision to every performance. Her extensive experience in both traditional and contemporary settings allows her to weave intricate melodies and provide sensitive and expressive accompaniment. In demand as a session musician and arranger, Fiona has appeared on many recordings throughout her musical career (Rallion, Canterach, Real Time, Raintown, The Wendy Weatherby Band etc). She is a prolific composer and her album recorded with Stevie Lawrence is a wonderful showcase for her compositions.
Which brings us to Stevie, whose innovative approach provides depth and dimension, a solid yet adventurous foundation to the Trio's sound. He weaves intricate rhythms and delicate textures on guitar and bouzouki. With a rich musical background, Stevies wide experience of playing, recording and touring worldwide with Cruachan, The Iron Horse, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Raintown and The Wendy Weatherby Band makes him a hugely versatile talent.
We're delighted and honoured to host them in Kirriemuir. Don't miss it. Book now!
