Playwrights' Room

This is a communal play created by members of the Scarborough Playwrights' Room based on Lynne Arnison's painting Boot Polish and Brylcream.

Led by lead writers Paul Spencer and Megan Hanson.This event is an exploration of the communal writing process, an expression of subjectivity, and a lot of fun.Through the messy, silly, and ambitious process of group-writing an entire play, you will get to see first-hand the diversity and creativity of local talent.Facilitated by Alfie Howle, the Scarborough Playwrights Room is a regular group of writers, actors, directors (and any other kinds of theatre-makers) who come together to combine their talents, learn from each other, and develop plays.New members are always welcome.
