Some locals didn’t just play games they made them.
One group formed DMA Designs and had early success with a highly original puzzle game called Lemmings which has a rather convoluted origin story.
They had even more impact with another game called Grand Theft Auto which went on to become one of the most successful series ever.
Plus the origin story of Minecraft, which was created in Sweden for the PC but was ported to the consoles in Dundee.
