Primed to be one of the UK jazz underground’s next breakout acts, Azamiah blend deep jazz roots with modern textures, from spacious, dub-inflected low end to subtle electronic influences reminiscent of James Blake.
Their sound moves fluidly between moody introspection and luminous, uplifting passages. At the core of the band is a commitment to collaboration and authenticity.
Fronted by the evocative vocals of India Blue and supported by Josef Akin (keys), Norman Villeroux (bass) and Alex Palmer (drums), Azamiah create immersive sonic worlds that feel both intimate and expansive.
Their 2023 debut In Phases drew praise from The Skinny and CLASH, alongside airplay on BBC 6Music and NTS.
Their 2025 EP Two Lands builds on that foundation, offering a bridge toward their forthcoming second album with heightened emotional clarity and intensity. They have performed widely across the UK and Europe, including appearances at Latitude, Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, and North Sea Round Town, and recently showcased at SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas. Also on the lineup, Kinbrae, the project of Scottish twin brothers Andy and Mike Truscott, craft atmospheric compositions blending brass, synths, percussion and field recordings, inspired by landscape and place.
DJ support comes from the Funky Gunners, spinning all-vinyl sets throughout the night. This is is BYOB and all ages event
