The Old Felstedian LGBTQIA+ Society (launched in 2024) is hosting a special evening atQueer Britain in London on Friday 17 April 2026.The Society - run by OF Christian Anthony (fe96-03) and Former Felsted Staff Member Nick Spring (80-17) - welcomes those who identify as LGBTQIA+, as well as straight allies and friends from the Felsted community.The evening includes an exclusive after-hours experience at the UKs first national LGBTQ+ museum, featuring a drinks reception, a guided tour, and time to explore the latest exhibitions celebrating stories of queer life, love, protest, and artistry.In addition to the more than 200 objects available to peruse at the museum, there will be one-off exhibitions including Queer Print - showcasing how the LGBTQ+ story was told prior to the digital age - and 40 Years of BFI Flare, which shows the evolution of the London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. 7.00pm: Guided tour of the exhibitions
7.45pm:Drinks refresh and explore the galleries
8.30pm: Evening finishes (feel free to head together wherever the evening takes you!)The drinks reception will include wine by Madame F and beer by Queer Brewing - both queer-owned organisations - as well as soft drinks.Please note you can only book a maximum of two tickets on this platform, so if you wish to book three or more tickets (i.e. for a group of you) then please email ofs@felsted.org asthere are only a maximum of 25 spaces available for this event.The booking deadline is 5.00pm on Thursday 19 March 2026 - unless we sell out before then!
