With the help of the Glenshee chair lift, this circular walk takes in three Munros; The Cairnwell, Carn Aosada and Carn nan Sac. This offers a great opportunity to enjoy the height and wilderness of Munros without the initial climb (as long as you are happy to use a chair lift). The route takes us past hidden lochans and glens in an atmospheric wilderness. We return to the car park via a shallow ski run, where you should feel a sense of great achievement having bagged 3 Munros.
Toilets and cafe facilities are available at the Ski Centre. Please do not rely on the caf for your food and drink in case it is unexpectedly closed.
In the unlikely event that the chairlift is not working, an alternative walk will be offered or the above walk adapted to an equivalent level and length.TERRAIN
On a variety of paths from wide Land Rover tracks to narrower well-trodden paths, all of which can be stoney and boggy. Although a lot of this route is undulating, there are some short steep sections with scree, therefore poles are highly recommended.
