Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the voices, stories and poetry from some of the finest women writers in Yorkshire.

Writer, theatre maker and multi-slam winning spoken word poet Hannah Davies; Northern Writers Award recipient and Rise-Up! co-host Nicky Kippax, Scarborough-based writer/artist Jayne Shipley whose work is published in several zines, magazines and anthologies including Aesthetica and Strix; and songwriter-turned-fiction writer Em Whitfield Brooks who will share extracts from her debut novel, a family saga set in 18th century Scarborough, exploring the town’s rich heritage as the first seaside resort town, and the heyday of the Spa.Dry bar this evening featuring tea, coffee, zero-alcohol versions, and cake.
