This 90-minute walk through the Blaise estate takes in a range of historical features ranging across the centuries from Iron Age earthworks, a Roman road, 18th century landscaping and 19th century building. One of Jane Austen's characters describes Blaise as "the finest place in England, worth going fifty miles to see" and this walk will show why the estate earned such high praise. The walk is across grass and along some paths, but also includes some steps going uphill and two reasonably steep paths (both going downhill).
Meet outside the front of the main house. The walk will start at 7.00pm.
A weather check will be taken 24 hours before the walk and if it is necessary to cancel all ticket holders will be informed and a refund issued.
