Herts Inclusive Theatre Presents The Colourful Minds Exhibition (1st - 31st May at the gallery, Old Town Hall, Hemel); we will showcase interactive multi-media portraits of people and pets, created by participants of the Colourful Minds art-for-wellbeing sessions that take place at the South Hill community centre on Friday afternoons.
Each portrait is personal to the participant who made it, showing aspects of wellbeing from grief to gratitude, and is the culmination of the group's exploration of portrait artists from around the globe. It's open to everyone, it's free, there will be refreshments, and it will feature one piece of personal art from each of our Colourful Minds participants in Hemel Hempstead.
For those who can't make the launch, the art will be on show for the entire month of May, you can go in to the Old Town Hall any time during it's opening hours and ask to see it.There is an optional donation ticket, and any amount with this ticket will be payable to Herts Inclusive Theatre; this will go towards continuing our arts for wellbeing initiative, benefitting marginalised groups, and those with disabilities and mental health needs.
