Faronel is an early music trio that performs a wide range of medieval and renaissance music for instruments and voices drawn from their research into original source material.

Their programme for this concert features a whirlwind tour through some 400 years of music, from the earliest songs in the English language, to secular and sacred medieval music drawn from across Europe and finishing with Renaissance works sourced from the musicians at the court of Henry VIII.There will also be a special guest appearance from the Mayfield Festivals Artistic Director, Jeremy Summerly, who will be revealing his skill as an early music wind player by joining Faronel in their performance of Renaissance consort works. This concert has kindly been sponsored by Stephen Tester Independent Funeral Directors.A 10% discount is offered if tickets are bought for 5 or more separate Festival events in a single booking - just select your seats and then ' Continue shopping '.For those aged 25 and under, tickets are only 5.A pay bar will be open before the concert and during the interval (cards accepted). Please note that users of large mobility aids (such as wheelchairs or walking frames) must only purchase tickets for one of the designated seats in the Mobility Assistance section.
