Chen Yin is an interdisciplinary choreographer and researcher. She develops systems that translate sounds and choreographic qualities into tactile feedback, expanding how audiences access narrative and emotion. Her research focuses on female sound expression and feminist implications in multi-sensory choreography, using the integration to shape new audience experiences.Present
This research explores interactive dance performance through multisensory engagement, investigating how emotional shifts and physical movement evolve in the dynamic exchange between dancers and the audience. The performance Present? meaning both the gift and the present moment integrates VR, different kinds of playtronica real-time interactive devices, and the Isadora software to build an immersive environment. The stage dissolves as performers invite the audience to join a fusion of dance and technology, where spontaneous reactions, unexpected connections and shared impulses turn every live moment into a unique, unrepeatable surprise.Artist bio:
Rose RUISI Zhang is an interdisciplinary choreographer and researcher. Her creative practice centers on multisensory interactive dance, exploring how technology dissolves boundaries between dancers and the audience, transforming each moment into a shared, unpredictable dialogue among the body, technology, and the present. She employs virtual reality, real-time interactive devices, and 3D capture tools to create immersive, multisensory participatory experiences.
